World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)

The number one brand in sports entertainment, chances are we all have a memory associated with this iconic wrestling promotion. Whether it’s Hulk Hogan body-slamming Andre the Giant, the peak of the Monday Night Wars or, more recently, the epic clashes between Cody Rhodes and the Bloodline, the WWE continues its dominant run on top of the wrestling universe. Kicking off the new year on Netflix (click here to take advantage of DISH’s limited-time Netflix bundle), we have a feeling the veteran promotion of the industry has some new tricks up their sleeves. Only one way to find out.

All-Elite Wrestling (AEW)

Wrestling is at its best when there is competition, and AEW is certainly no pushover. Founded by Tony Khan and the legendary Elite stable, in six short years, the promotion has grown to be not only a credible alternative to WWE, but a dynamic powerhouse on its own. Capitalizing off the success of their All In shows (going back to the original), AEW enters 2025 ready to bring the pain with its mix of technical masterpieces and gritty violence.

With a return to its roots (and the TNA name), the promotion originally founded by Jeff Jarrett is still going strong in its third decade. In fact, on the back of an inter-promotional partnership with WWE’s NXT brand and the return of live shows, one would argue there has never been a better time to feel the full impact of the TNA roster.
